Being A Hostess

First, let me congratulate you on becoming a PartyLite™ Hostess.  By Hosting a Show, you have already earned free candles and products for yourself.

You will have a Hostess pack, which will include Catalogues, order forms and most importantly, Invitations.  You should aim to invite as many people as you can, as it is always inevitable that some wont be able to attend.  Here are some suggestions of people to invite:

1. Friends
2. Neighbours
3. Relatives
4. Co-Workers - past and present
5. Club Members
6. Wives of husband/partner's friends at work
7. Christmas card list
8. Hairdresser
9. Your children's friends' parents
10. Church friends

Whenever you invite people, always encourage them to bring friends with them.

24 hours before your Show, always call round the people you have given invitations to, just to remind them of the Show date and time. Also, you will know how many people are coming, so you can cater for them

Keep the refreshments simple, as your friends will feel more comfortable booking a show if they know they don't have to lay on a huge spread!

Also, in your Hostess Pack you will have details of the Monthly Hostess & Guest Specials. The Hostess Specials are products that are greatly reduced in price as a thank-you to the Hostess.

Please make sure you read your pack through as this will be your guide to a successful show.

If you have people who cannot attend your Show, then you can take outside orders from them on the Order Forms provided.  Please make sure that their name and addresses are on the form in full, and if paying by card, all the card details are provided.
